Description

Pure magic flowed from the pen of Dave Stevens. I fell in love with his work from the moment I discovered it as the backup feature in Pacific's Starslayer comic. The beautiful linework hearkened back to a bygone era of illustration. The iconic character of The Rocketeer took his place as one of my favorites. Action, adventure, style; the book had it all. I was lucky enough to obtain this work in an Ebay auction a while back. With a few simple strokes of ballpoint pen, Dave captures the spirit of his wonderful creation. It will forever remain a great tragedy that he was taken from us too soon.
