Description

This page was published in October 1979, penciled by Alex Saviuk and inked by Frank Chiaramonte. I was delighted to acquire this action page featuring Flash battling Heat Wave via an ebay auction in 2011. Alex Saviuk only worked on seven issues of The Flash and some of those are not in circulation so this was a relatively rare opportunity.

One of my favorite Flash villians, Heat Wave as drawn by Saviuk is classic. Chiaramonte did great job inking this series over several different artists, but he always did a great job. And you're right with Saviuk only doing seven issues... leaving his pages from this series a bit hard to come by.
