McManus: Bringing Up Father 09-07-26

What a bummer that they applied the Zip-a-tone to the original drawing! Most of it has fallen off, leaving rubber cement residue stains behind, along with darkened blue pencil. This is a good case study of the various stages of the horror of rubber cement. Good thing I work with professional paper conservators. Despite the damage, however, what superb drawing! I imagine this was done in collaboration with the equally great Zeke Zekley.
