Dredd! Strato-V! Mad Mox! Stub Gun!

Ron Smith was always reliable for great action scenes and his characters (be they mutie, perp or alien) were always memorable. I'm chuffed to bits with this page from Shanty Town, one of my favourite Ron Smith stories. Dredd and fellow Apocalypse Squad veteran Ocks are among the Judges under siege in a downed Strato-V, while Mad Mox (toting a Stub Gun) leads the charge� And check out the hat-thrown-in-air-by-overexcited-mob-member; lovely detail.

Hey,this looks familiar! a fantastic page david - plenty of dredd, plenty of action and a jaunty, fashion-conscious (also love the hat detail - they're all wearing them!) marauding mob baying for the judges blood! Ron Smith excelled on these stories, a HUGE talent. :-)

The stub gun did not do much for them in the end.Very memorable story and if read carefully shows you how to lose weight.Its not a method I would recommend.

Congrats, buddy, on another outstanding Dredd piece by the Dredd Master -- Ron Smith. I know there are many other Dredd artists, some of them more popular, but Ron Smith is my fave!!!

About as close to page perfection as it gets! The legend that is Ron Smith doing what he does best. The mutie leading the charge in the bottom panel is one of my favourite Ron Smith characters
