That's a beauty! Ron was just so, so good - probably the best artist on Dredd when it comes to capturing the sheer madness of life in the Big Meg.

Definitely Rondo Hatton, whose likeness also featured in one of Bolland's memorable Dredd stories back in 1978 (The Face-change Crimes, Prog 52).
The four-eyed alien lady is a Tucana from the original Battestar Galactica TV series (looked familiar but couldn't immediately place her but a quick Google helped). Lovely piece, Mark!

No, I think pages from Paradax! and Strange Days are rarely seen in the wild (a few have drifted past my nose over the years but I've never jumped). A few years ago a beautiful b&w Paradax! page popped up but it was so horribly faded (sunlight plus cheap marker pens; ouch) it made me weep.

A bit of a rare gem, this one! McCarthy is one of the greats and I always had a soft spot for Rudcliff & Williams (and they ended up in a commission I got from Brendan a few years back). Lovely to see an original page from a minor classic!
O'Neill art from this era is just incredible and, given the rarity, any page is an absolute treasure - definitely cream of the crop stuff.
Amazing McCarthy piece - and the fact it lifts directly from one of Cam Kennedy's Rogue Trooper panels adds to the allure as far as I'm concerned...
Redondo was an artist I didn't appreciate sufficiently as a kid but thankfully I've correct that particulary piece of wrongheadedness. Return to Armageddon is stupid, glorious fun.
That's a great page - so much to love about this one and a good example of why I could never make up my mind whether I preferred Cam or Colin on this strip (I still can't, they're both ridculously good).

The Marauders was definitely one of the high points of Rogue Trooper for me; Colin Wilson and Cam were the Dream Team on that story, given their flair for future tech - those hopper and atmocraft designs were incredible... Anyway, a beautiful page, Ben!

Parting with this page was slightly painful (but O'Neill Nemesis is always the winning hand) but I'm delighted it finally made its way to you, Greg - no safer pair of hands for Bad Company art! That 1981 Sci-Fi special is well worth picking up, Steve - amazing Bolland cover, O'Neill's first reveal of Nemesis, great Colin Wilson Dredd story (his first commissioned 2000AD work)...
Amazing, jaw-dropping art then, amazing, jaw-dropping art now. It's great to see the original of a page I pored over for hours as a kid; definitely one of Fabry's best from this run on Slaine, which is saying something. Awesome.
Beautiful work by Bryan Talbot - as good a replacement for Kevin O'Neill on the series as anyone could have hoped for. The Gothic Empire run is every bit as good now as it was when it was first published, and this is a lovely page. Great stuff!

Fantastic - always loved this page! The dry-brush work in the first panel is genius (and, unsurprisingly, looks far better than it did when printed on bog paper).
I have the page following these (where TTTT is being lowered from his hab-block, with classic robo-humour). Never tire of Cam's art from this period on such a stellar clutch of Dredd stories (The Warlord, The Big Sleep, Midnight Surfer et al.).
A lovely page and a really great story to go with it (yours). The Big Sleep is one of my very favourite Dredd stories - most definitely a minor classic with pitch-perfect art and dialogue; just a joy to read.
