I've never been a big fan or follower of Firestorm, but the Brightest Day series brought an interesting dimention to the character(s). So when I had a chance to get a piece of this dynamic art, I had to jump at it. And I just am amazed at the effects and quality of work being used here. It's a wonderful time as a lover of comic art with all the amazing work being produced. I grew up in the Silver Age of comics so its near and dear to my heart. But I think the overall quality and variety of art work has never been better.

Now about the art...this piece was done completely digitally. No pen on paper - no ink on paper; totally digital.

I was SO curious and drawn to the appearance of this work that I reached out to Jason Palmer (http://qurls.com?i=50431) to ask more about this work by Scott Clark and Dave Beaty. Jason is a great guy to work with as he does a fantastic job explaining the process of the art and that fact that even tho it's digital, it is guaranteed to be a 1-of-1 print. And that was one of my original concerns but not any longer.

Because it is done digitally, Scott and Dave have the ability to include some fantastic effects in thier art. And when you get the actual print of the art....OH! MY! GOSH! It is unline any art I've previously gotten and I love it.

I'm a fan of the work done by Scott Clark and Dave Beaty...and now I'm a fan of their digital art. I encourage you to check out Jason Palmer's CAF site. I've been very pleased that I did.
