Karate Kid vs. Snake Eyes by Robert Atkins and Simon Gough

Robert Atkins was actually the second artist I ever contacted about getting a Karate Kid commission. I think Robert is the best Snake Eyes artist around, and he was the only guy I considered for this commission. And though it took quite a while to get this one, I definitely think that it was worth the wait. I of course love the way he drew Snake Eyes but Robert did a fantatsic job with Val Armorr, as well. I especially like the way he drew Val's wristbans. They look cool to me. Also, it looks like Snake is about to try to chop Val's leg off after he's blocked that kick! Thanks again to Robert!

While both of these guys are martial arts masters, Val Armorr just knows more fighting styles and will outfight Snake Eyes if they fight hand-to-hand. If, however, Snake Eyes uses some of the many, many weapons that he carries, then the fight will get more interesting. That is, until Val takes them away and knocks Snake Eyes unconscious. Ha! But seriously, I have nothing but love for Snake Eyes. He was the first Joe figure I owned when I was a kid, and my favorite Joe in the comics, but he�s just outclassed by Val. It would be an awesome fight, though.

I'd love a Val Armorr action figure with kung-fu grip! Speaking of, whatever happened to those LOSH action figures announced last year? There was supposed to be a cool Karate Kid figure in that set.

There is indeed..downside is they will be sold as a set and they are schedulded for the Autumn
