Description

Lan Medina had a really wonderful run on Fables, his style and attention to detail really made those stories work for me. So I was thrilled to commission Lan through his agent Court Gebeau for this gorgeous, fully rendered pencil commission of "The Adversary", Geppetto hard at work on his Adversary avatar.

In the background, well, EVERYONE..Bigby, Snow, Beauty, Beast, Rose Red, Charming, Frau Totenkinder, Jack and just about every other main hero character featured in Fables.

In the foreground we find Pinocchio, back on his marionette strings. So much detail here, and so well rendered. Many thanks to Lan and to Court for making this happen.

So wonderful! Each one of these theme pieces is such a unique piece in itself and you never fail to get a brilliant rendering. You and Finn are slugging it out for best theme with your trophies vs his OML theme! I'm torn.

can't believe I never commented on this, considering Fables is one of my favourite series this is just insane, only better for me personally would be a Lucifer trophy wall by Peter Gross! such great detail, as much as I love Buckingham's art the detail in Lan's work is amazing and sometimes I do wonder what the series would be like if he stayed on.
