The Black Witch and Blok by J.K. Woodward

J.K. Woodward recently ran a commission sale where he did convention-style watercolor and gray wash pieces from home. I've been a big fan of his work ever since I first saw it in Fallen Angel so I ended up commissioning two pieces from him. I wanted a Legion piece from J.K. and figured Mysa would be perfect for his style. And to accompany her I asked for Blok, her protector and companion. I've liked Blok and Mysa's relationship ever since it was introduced, and I've loved the short stories Geoff Johns and Paul Levitz have done recently with them dealing with Mysa turning dark. Their relationship is both tragic and beautiful. Anyway, J.K. did an outstanding job with this one. Blok is huge and intimidating and Mysa is gorgeous and scary, which is excatly how they should be.
