Description

To commemorate the release of the new Conan the Barbarian movie this weekend I'm posting my latest digital art entitled "Spiders' Lair". I'm really hoping Conan will fight a giant arachnid in this new version! The first Arnold film was great, but when toned down to a PG rating the second really didn't work. This was ironic since the greatest creative team to ever work on the comic, Roy Thomas and Barry Windsor-Smith (my former mentor), were involved in the production of Conan the Destroyer. Both of the creatures in the second feature just looked dumb... At least the actor looks more like Barry's version of Conan this time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
