I've recently discovered Cole Closser's wonderful online comic strip, Little Tommy Lost. Cole's strip is a throwback to the 1920s and 30s adventure strips, with a strong flavor of George Storm, Harold Gray, and Roy Crane. I recently bought two of Cole's books, and he kindly added an ink sketch of Tommy.

I cannot recommend Cole Closser's work highly enough. Check out his wonderful website, and be sure to read through the first installment of Little Tommy Lost. You'll be glad you did.
