Description

Absolutely great retake by Gary Leach of the classic 60s Ditko/Wood story featuring the death of John Janus the original Menthor. Unlike the original which was a bit more delicate in the death scene, Gary left no doubt that Menthor had made the ultimate sacrifice for his fellow agents.

I have to tell you as a kid I could not believe this story, heroes did not die back then.

This story was published in the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents Companion book.

Hi Micheal - although sold as Buth Guice - This is Garry Leach ( One time Miracleman artist) for an unpublished strip for Penthouse comics and reprinted in The Thunder Agents Companion- and very nice at that.
