DescriptionI asked Rich if he penciled and inked this page, since various others were listed in the credits as inkers. Here was Rich's response:"Yes, it's my pencils and inks. Also my writing (some of the dialogue and narration was revised later by Doug Moench)--this was the first story page I drew and it was used in the initial presentation to Roy Thomas--RICH" Social/Sharing |

Awesome, dynamic layout - kind of Steranko-ish; Does Deatlhlok look a bit like Clint Eastwood in panel 3?

Very cool! Epic score on a epic story! I loved this series & character as a kid. Like every other kid/ young teen at the time. We were all $6 Million Dollar Man junkies! Except this was much more gritty & realistic to a point. Congrads!

This is definitely an historic page. Not only do you have a page from the first Buckler Deathlok issue, but this is also rumored to be George Perez's first Marvel professional background assist issue.

Great and historic page! Have you been catching Deathlok on the Agents of Shield television show?

This is a certified grail if there ever was one. Please don't ever remove your CAF, otherwise treasures like this will never be enjoyed or seen by the community. Also, you don't get the satisfaction of people ogling at your great stuff

I like Buckler's work very much. And this page is one of his best.

It is currently 2024. We should have had Deathlok for 30+ years already. The future is so disappointing.
GREAT page. Collectors love their splashes and their covers - but a great example of sequential art, like this one, gets me every time. That strip of small panels - with the narration - really makes this one special.

And I think this is the only page from the first issue to surface.

This is a great page. Between the draftsmanship and storytelling, I'm not sure which I am more impressed by.
