The Legion of Substitute Heroes by Evan Shaner

Using Stone Boy as a weapon or battering ram will almost always get a laugh out of me. The first Legion of Substitute Heroes story that I ever read was the one where he was offered membership in the Legion of Superheroes but turned it down because he didn't want to leave his friends in the Subs. Ever since then he's been my favorite Sub, and I was thrilled to see that Evan showcased him in this commission. The look on Stone Boy's face and the the expressions of the Subs are fantastic. You can tell they really hope this strategy will work in taking out their foe but some of them are still not sure about the whole thing. Anyway, I love it. Thanks again, Evan!
