Color Kid by Gene Gonzales and Simon Gough

As soon as I saw the Rainbow Girl commission that Gene and Simon did together I knew I would have to follow it up with the other colorful member of the Subs, Color Kid. Color Kid always seemed like he was potentially a lot more powerful than he thought he was. The one story where he changed all of that kryptonite from green to blue so it wouldn't harm Superboy was the only story I can think of that had him being awesome. I mean, he could turn all the disks on the Dominators' heads yellow, so that they they wouldn't know who was in charge anymore, or he could turn an enemy's eyes black so that they couldn't see, or who knows what all else. Someone needs to bring him back and let him shine! Anyway, Gene and Simon both did fantastic work on this commission. I wanted a classic, happy Color Kid, showing off his powers, and that's what I got. And Simon made it bright and (of course) colorful!
