Description
Another gem from the Fantastic Art of Mike Ploog card set! This is a favorite piece of Mike's and he graciously allowed me to buy it from him earlier this month.

It's funny, when I first saw the card set, this piece was not among my favorites, maybe it was a bit too grotesque for my tastes. Over the years, it really grew on me though, and now I place it among Mike's finest paintings. As with most painted pieces, my scanner does not do this one justice, but you can hopefully get a good idea of how cool it is from the scan.

You're killing me Jim! I can't believe you've managed to pry these incredible paintings from Mike's personal collection. That is to say, the few pieces from the card set he actually wanted to keep! While I have to settle for looking the little 2x3 cards, you get to enjoy these beautiful originals! Like I said, you're killing me!

I couldn't display this since my kids are too young. But no question this is a creepy and superb example!!!! Congratulations buddy.

Hi Joe! The original has an image area of 8" x 10 1/2"; this is one of those "good things come in small packages" pieces!
