For those of you who are not familiar with the character of Power Ring, he initially appeared in Justice League of America # 29 (August 1964). He belongs to the Crime Syndicate of America which resides on Earth-Three. Other members of the Crime Syndicate include Ultraman, Owlman, Johnny Quick and Superwoman. Essentially, these five criminals are counterparts for Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and Flash in regard to powers and appearance.

Roy, I was looking to get a drawing of the Flash and wanted to pit him against a villain outside of the usual Rouges Gallery since I already have several of those. The Crime Syndicate was not represented in my collection so I opted to go with Power Ring.
