Description

Always a pleasure meeting and talking to Jim Keefe. We were trying to figure out how long ago he did the Jungle girl commission for me and we figured it must have been about 2000 or 2001. Wow! I like his work on Flash Gordon and his appreciation for the history of comics and so this was a perfect theme for him. He was excited to do this and since I had given out all my reference material already, he was going to wait for me to come back with it. It took me a lot longer to get the other sketches done and by the time I came back he was half way through it as he was excited by the theme. I think he really did a nice classic Caniff influenced piece here.
