Description

John Pound was the first Garbage Pail Kids artist and painted over 400 of the cards.

In his process for most of the cards, he began with a rough layout sketch, then created a tight pencil drawing by tracing over the sketch.

He would then photocopy the pencil drawing and create a color-rough using acrylic paints.

When he was happy with the color rough, he would paint the final painting onto bristol paper using acrylics and airbrush.

This is the color-rough painting for #412: Mixed-Up Trixie and Doughy Chloe, released with Series 10 in 1987. (Also reprinted in "Garbage Pail Kids Flashback Series 1" in 2010). Signed by John Pound.
