Thanks Tyler! Well, they come from eBay, CAF, professional dealers, fellow collectors, art galleries, online auction houses, ... you get the idea :) In the case of this particular one I got it through acting on a suggestion from a real good friend of mine who pointed me in the direction of a friend of his who asked his friend whom actually owned the art. Turned out he sold it already to a friend of mine of which I recently bought it - true story!
