DescriptionSkeezix came close to sitting up on July 29, 1921, but he fell right back down. As far as I can see, Frank King first drew Skeezix sitting up, on his own, in the fourth panel in this daily strip for 22 September 1921, when Skeezix was about 7 1/2 months old. The strip is part of Walt and Skeezix' first road trip together (the third big, annual trip in the complete history of Gasoline Alley, which began as an independent strip in 1919), which took place in the summer of 1921.Social/Sharing |

A superb collection of Walt and Skeezix! And a good joke to boot.
