Description

So Walter Simonson was a nice guy. He was only giving ten free sketches a day and I happened to get number seven the first day at the NYCC. I got my friend Tim Finney a Manhunter sketch. I didn't think I would get a drawing for myself once I had gotten one already but the second day I happened to be there when he said he would do ten sketchs. I told him that I had gotten Manhunter the day before for a friend and he asked if I was fibbing. I said no it is really getting sent to Japan and he gave me number eight so I could get my own sketch. It came out fantastic.
