Description

Funny story here. I was on my way out of NYCC when I saw Dave Roman. He was on my list . . . I had read a few of his Teen Boat minicomics back in the day. The protagonist there was a boy who could change into a boat, and how it affects his life at school. About a month ago, I picked up the collection from the library, and Dave wrote about his fondness for Seaspray, the Autobot with the hovercraft "alt-mode." Well, one of the sketch themes I have is getting drawings of Transformers I had when I was a kid. Seaspray fit that criteria, and Dave was nice enough to indulge me. And yes, that is Teen Boat he has in his hand.

BTW, how is it that any Transformer could be into "Naval Defense"? Were there oceans on Cybertron that never got shown in the cartoon?
