DescriptionDuring Emerald City Comicon 2012, Jim Woodring & Fantagraphics Books had a pinball arcade tournament at a pinball bar in downtown Seattle called Shorty's. The winner had to score the lowest score out of all contestants in order to win the tournament. The winner got this rare pinball backglass featuring Jim Woodring's characters from his Frank books. I won! It was a controversial win as the pinball got stuck at the top of the arcade and I was able to tap the glass to get it to fall without tilting! I was in disbelief as I didn't quite realize that I really had won. I was very excited. Jim Woodring later on was kind enough to draw an original piece of art to fit inside the area where the pinball score would normally be.Social/Sharing |

I forgot to mention, I showed my wife my process of barely getting the ball to touch over the top. She took 2nd place!
