DescriptionMatt Jones is a story artist at Pixar after working on Peter Lord's The Pirates! Band of Misfits, Bibo Bergeron's A Monster in Paris, and Tim Burton's Corpse Bride. With boothmates Matt Cruickshank and J.P.Vine, Matt set up at the Alternative Press Expo to sell his Gesture Drawing book and the Aardman artists Tales of the Spiffing comic anthology.My brother Stuart and niece Riley saw A Monster in Paris on the flight to France for the Angouleme International Comics Festival in January. My friend Dave loaned me his DVD until I found the Region 1 DVD at Amazon Canada. I fell in love with the movie and played the La Seine song and dance sequence frequently. The singers are Vanessa Paradis and "M." When I saw Matt at the con, I picked up some of his drawings in his portfolio and asked about his work on this French film. He said he worked on the song and dance number and the alligator sequence. I was thrilled he was willing to do a drawing for me.
