DescriptionI recently acquired this piece from the RGK Estate...Story is: Several pieces were found in the studio of RGK in a box marked "Not For Sale" after his death, and were considered to be some of RGK's personal pieces... As with many of the fine fantasy artists of the period, RGK was one of my favorites and I always loved the detail found in his pieces... But, with this being Dejah Thoris from "A Princess of Mars" (one of my all time favorite stories) this captured two interests... For me, that's what picking this piece out was all about... I have included a couple of closer views prior to putting the glass on this time for those who might want to get a closer look at RGK's vision of Dejah... Social/Sharing |
