Superior Spider-Man Part 01

For those of you who have been hiding under a rock for hte past few weeks, Amazing Spider-Man #700 saw a changing of the guard. Otto Octavius pulled off the unthinkable: He swapped minds with Peter Parker, leaving him to die in his cancer-ridden body. Now armed with his memories and Peter's sense of responsibility, he has taken up the mantle of the webhead out to prove himself the "superior" Spider-Man. So since it's officially Spidey month I decided to join the fun. My idea is to have Octo-Spidey as I like to call him clining onto the light of a New York streetlamp upside down without his mask. I'm leaning towards Central Park lamps, especially since it's private enough for him to be maskless. It's also going to be an experiment with light and shadow and a combination of inkwash and copics. This rough was etched on regular sketch paper with mechanical pencil.
