Here we have the good board - 9 x 12" Strathmore - and the begings of the shadow rendering via black copic brush pen and .005 and .03 graphic pens. As you can see I'm taking advantage of the new raised webbing element to the red field and using warm greys for red. As for how I can establish that in the non-shaded areas i'll have to give it some thought. The actual lamp will come as soon as I find the right design. More as it develops.
