Description
Eeli Jaatinen (1905-1970) started as a newspaper illustrator and a cartoonist, but went on to become a versatile and talented illustrator, producing many beatiful book covers and postcards. In later years, he wanted to focus on becoming a fine art painter, but felt his work wasn't as succesful he had hoped. His postcard illustrations ranged from fairy tales to cartoons to religious subjects.
