DescriptionThe idea for this commission was to create an image of Betty and Veronica as if they were photographed by the legendary David Perry (http://davidperrystudio.com/hrp/index.htm) beside my neighbor's vintage dragster, in authentic outfits as worn by the girls in 1966. Jeff Shultz made an absolutely excellent job with his usual attention to detail (the RC Cola bottles are of the pre-1971 type), and his beautiful coloring adds to the illusion of a late summer afternoon at a yet-to-be-determined dragstrip in New England in July 1966.Social/Sharing |
