DescriptionEvery passionate collection is a sort of self-portrait. This piece almost does that for me all by itself. That was me at 14 exactly: poking around in ruins, falling in love with ephemera. Only my left arm wasn't Hulk-sized.Social/Sharing |

I know that JK's famous work is for Marvel, but me? I'd love a splash like this from his 4th World books and his other DC series. Congratulations on a wonderful page.

this has to be one of the most complex detailed splashes of the run... "a more extensive investigation" abso-freaking-lutely!!!!! unbelievable.

This is ready for the Kirbypedia, page 1. Just one of the most brilliant images I have seen, it doesn't matter the period or the publisher. The Kamandi line about the comic book is just priceless - which means that, whatever you paid for this piece, you had a deal!!

This is great. I love how Kirby could use his memories of Germany, 1944, to make America, 22nd century. And I dig the reminder that Kamandi, action hero, is also a kid.

Only Kirby could make rummaging through ruins so incredibly dynamic and exciting! Nice!

Love the carnage (particularly the donut sign) juxtaposed with the innocence.

Gorgeous inks, wonderful details, and incredible depth on this piece. One of the best Kirby Kamandi examples I've ever seen. So jealous!

A Kirby DPS allows the master to flex all of his creative muscle and I love looking at them. I don't have oversized/DPS Kirby art, I hadn't thought about needing Kirby oversized art, I don't need Kirby oversized art (telling myself). I may have added a new bucket list item today. Congrats - thanks for sharing!
