DescriptionI always LOVED the iconic image produced by Carmine Infantino and Murphy Anderson. I contacted Mitch Ballard to do a sketch card of it. Turns out Mitch had already done one of this image, so I remembered how much this book meant to me as a boy. (I still have my copy!) I saved and saved so I could buy it, and once owned it became my Batman bible! So I asked him to recreate the cover to the book complete with the logo and everything. It turned out AMAZING! I can't believe the detail Mitch faithfully put into such a small package! I'm just so happy with it... it gave me the idea to commission Mitch to do the companion Superman and Captain Marvel books too! (check 'em out!)Social/Sharing |
