I've been wanting to have someone do a bronze-age Black Orchid for a while now. I enjoyed the Neil Gaiman/Dave McKean series, but I have a special fondness for the old stuff, especially the Nestor Redondo issues. I almost got Adam Hughes to do one once, but alas, it was not to be. So when I saw Mark's other commissions, I knew he was the guy to do it. And he did a fantastic job, it instantly became one of the favorite pieces I own. Thank you Mark.
