Description

Here is a Superman Vs. Doomsday cover recreation (somewhat) from Action Comics #684. I say "somewhat" in that I change some things about each one that I do. I really don't like to do recreations as it makes me feel like I am copying someone else's vision and idea and that just makes me feel like I am a total hack, but a lot of people like them, and I hate to turn anyone away who wants a piece from me.
I decided to make Doomsday a little more "Hulk like" and brawnier in my take. I figured if he were the one to take out Superman, he'd have to be a pretty strong S.O.B. I also warped the "Metropolis" sign a little as I figured, with a battle like this going on, that sign would have to suffer some damage. I also made the sign's support splintering a little like the sign is going to fall... much like Superman fell to Doomsday (for a while anyway). The sign to the city falls like the man sworn to protect it.
