Description

(Toei) My Little Pony is a 1986 animated series based on the 1983 line of toys. The series, which ran for 65 episodes, was preceded by 2 television specials titled "Rescue from Midnight Castle" and "Escape from Catrina".

This 2 cel setup over the original hand-painted background is from the special "Escape from Catrina" which first aired March 23, 1985. It features two ponies, Posey and Sparkler who both made their first appearance in this special.
