DescriptionThis page is the INK-work by Wayne Faucher over the blue-line pencils of Chad Hardin. Very cleverly written story (by Robert Venditti) that pulled together multiple characters without truly focusing on just one. This page includes a panel with all the players and is basically similar to a scene in the Lord of the Rings movie where a coded message on a wall has to be deciphered to open. Xanadu figures it out and away they go! So what I love about this page are two small things that I think are really cool. It's a small thing on the page but I REALLY LOVE the way Wayne Faucher added texture to the walls in the last tow panels. And in the last panel, his shadows on the inscriptions make them feel chiseled.Social/Sharing |
