DescriptionMy plan to have this thing ready by today fell through due to poor time management and an ice storm. My client and I have agreed to meet next Sunday and I'm moving my ass around Christmas tree decorating to get this finished by next week. At this point I've transferred my roughs to a 9 x 12 Strathmore sheet with some touch ups that took longer than I wanted. Even longer was creating a legend as to how to color the dwarfs. As you can see, I'm using graphic inks and copic tones. The base coat for skin is E50, also known as "Egg Shell". I then follow up with both a second coating for shadows and E00 ("Skin White") for deep shadows and the large noses. Snow White will be a larger challenge, as will the background. Fingers crossed as I move forward one step at a time.Social/Sharing |
