Description

Fluen, I confess, is a rare piece of art in that utterly captivated me the moment I saw it. Mortensen blends so many emotions into his dramatic little drawings, but Fluen is a quintessential Mortensen piece. Humor suffused with horror or is it the other way around? His works capture a moment in a very dark and fluid world. They are not mere poses or compositions, but rather suggest a multitude of possible scenarios, stories and ideas. Brilliant, simply brilliant.
