Description

Amazing Spider-Man 395 page 3 (Bagley/Emberlin, 1992)

Spider-Man fights the new improved Spider-Slayers from Alistair Smythe in Part One of "Invasion of the Spider-Slayers." Spider-Man is attacked by a large killer robot in the beginning, and he struggles with how to handle it. As a pedestrian (a construction worker with a jackhammer) attempts to render Spider-Man aid, and then comes under attack himself, Spider-Man rallies and rips the robot's head off. During the fight, and unbeknownst to Spider-Man, tiny robotic spiders, perched on the light poles and walls, are recording and broadcasting to an undisclosed location, the details of the fight.

Nice Bagley ASM action page. He really did evoke a lot of energy in his panels - that top right one is killer. Nice get!
