Kevin Maguire Sun Boy

Purchased from the artist at the 2014 Phoenix Comicon. Like the Grell piece elsewhere in this gallery, this is a rough sketch from an artist known for the detail on his figures, particularly the facial expressions. What's clear here, though, is that even Kevin's loose sketches are pretty tightly done. There's not much left to do on this piece other than fill in detail. The artist has perfectly captured the self-confidence of the character.
