Spidey & Betty Brant vs Whisper & Pulse (their 1st appearance).

Special thanks to my friend John for this one.

About three years ago I bought a page from this issue from Alex Saviuk himself, so when I had a chance to buy the cover, I was very excited.

Love Spidey's pose, and also there's just something about Betty Brant brandishing a gun.

Alex did a phenomenal job on this series. Whenever WOS comes up he immediately comes to mind.

Wonderful! Saviuk Spidey covers are among my favorite pieces in the hobby. Just a fantastic classic Spidey image and again, lusciously inked by Alex. Awesome! Bravo.

I'm with Jason on that. Saviuk Spider-Man is some of the best rendered Spidey art. There's never any inconsistency in the clarity and movement of the characters when he's inked and pen'd by Alex[cough cough Sal Buscema cough]. This is a great example by a great artist! Congrats amigo
