DescriptionSpecial piece for me here as it signifies the first time I got to meet Mr. Mike Zeck, one of my favorite artists, particularly as a kid. Meeting him was the primary reason I went to Dallas Fan Days 2014. I could only attend the first day of the show (Friday) as I had to fly out of town that night so numero uno on the priority list was to meet Mike and secure a piece. I got to his table 15 minutes after the show started and already his commission list for that day was full. So, I looked through his limited pre-done pieces and picked out this Kraven…gotta like that sinister smile. I clearly remember the Fearful Symmetry (or, Kraven’s Last Hunt) storyline because it was so different for Spidey…I wasn’t sure if I even understood it all at the time. What I knew was that I saw Kraven in a whole new light, the storytelling was unique, and the art was killer. I’m jazzed to own an original Kraven from Mike. Very nice guy, by the way!Social/Sharing |

What a perfect artist to get a Kraven commission from. NO ONE can compete with Zeck's take on Kraven.

Always a great feeling to buy art from a guy who's as great as the art!

When anyone mentions Zeck, my first reaction is always "Kraven"!

SOOOOO GREAT! Zeck rocks any character but Kraven has to be in his top five! A perfect portrait of the mad hunter...

Oh for sure! I'm thinking Cap, Spidey, Kraven in that top 5 for sure. Still mulling who the other 2 might be. As far as this piece, yeah man, love the kinda diabolical smile that lends to the "madness" of Sergei :) Thanks!

Congratulations on a terrific illustration by one of the nicest and most talented artists in comics. The detail in Kraven's face is fantastic! The circular ZECK cover signature is a nice bonus as well!
