DescriptionDAN ADKINS / WALLY WOOD original art, SPACE GHOST...(Signed)...Featuring an Original piece of art by Dan Adkins...Done in mixed media....Featuring a piece of SPACE GHOST, with Dan inking over Wally Wood's blue lines from the looks of it...Back of piece states 'The Space Ghost by Dan Adkins...Strathmore 100lb Bristol paper. Pencil by Wood...Inks by Adkins - Dan Adkins was Wood's assistant from 1964-1966, working on the Thunder Agents, among 60 assignments", and with Dan Adkins signature on the back...NOTE: Although the back of the piece states in Adkins writing that Wood's penciled the piece, we can see some blue lines here and there, so it might be a copy of Wood's work, then Dan inked over (which same could be said for the 'Wood' signature on the front)...? This item is in great condition, with light handling and corner wear... Created when? : ??... on Medium to heavy stock ... Size : (approx) 9" x 12"... Social/Sharing |
