TL1239-17 - Topolino e l'enigma di Mu - Mickey, Goofy and Zapotec

Written and drawn by one of the greatest all time Italian Disney artists, Massimo De Vita, "Topolino e l'enigma di Mu" (Mickey Mouse and Mu's enigma) is a 1979 story that sees the first appearance of Dr. Zapotec, here described only as an archaeologist, that will be (and still is) part of many stories mainly focused on ancient civilizations and mysteries related to "human" history. Only in 1985 he will reveal to his friends, Mickey and Goofy, the existence of a Time machine that will be key to many adventures to come and that, as of today, counts more than 100 stories.

Here's a great page with all the main characters. It may not be my favourite M. De Vita (that would be from mid 80s to mid 90s), but still impressive overall. Fantastic storytelling and work on characters gestures and expressions.
