Saturn Queen by

Eve Aries, like Saturn Girl of the Legion of Super-Heroes, is a native of Titan, a moon full of telepaths. But unlike Saturn Girl, when Eve left Titan to travel abroad, she began to feel overwhelming criminal tendencies due to not being near Saturn's rings. Eve eventually joined the Legion of Super-Villains and became one of its most formidable members, calling herself Saturn Queen. She even recently lead the team in one of their most ambitious missions yet. I really dig Saturn Queen's latest costume, especially the red stripes on her legs and the black Saturn symbol on her chest. I asked Gene Gonzales to draw Eve in this costume for me in his most recent round of "Conventionless Convention Sketches". And of course Gene did a brilliant job, depicting Eve as looking both evil and seductive. I also like how he made the lines representing her telepathy jagged-looking, as apposed to the ones for Saturn Girl, which were smooth. Because Saturn Queen is crazy, ya'll. Anyway, Simon added some gorgeous colors (look at that hair) and here she is! Thanks as always to both Gene and Simon!
