DescriptionI craved a Mike Mignola Hellboy piece for a long time and finally I had the chance to own a terrific page from Hellboy in Hell (issue 2, page 17).This is the late Mignola. Many people may prefer his more detailed works in the 90s, but I do understand the path of synthesis the artist chose to follow. Quoting Alex Toth: "Simplify, simplify, simplify, throughout!". I'm not saying I don't dig detailed art too, but I oftentimes find the synthesis to be much more powerful (and much easier to read, in comic books storytelling is everything). Truth be told, it all depends on the artist. And I do believe Mignola is producing his best artwork ever now. Huge thanks, Antonio! Paper size: 29.2 x 44.5 cm Social/Sharing |

Beautiful page. Really a shame they still don't do all the lettering by hand on his pages. Those last tow panels are fantastic.

I agree with Matt, last two panels are simply classic, but the whole page is pure Mignola. Congrats Fabio...

Unbelievable page! A masterpiece of design and clear but subtle storytelling. Love how Mignola spots his blacks and every line is perfectly placed

Wow! Outstanding page from Hellboy in Hell! Mike Mignola is such a unique talent. He's created a whole world and invited us in to experience it. This page is from one the classic Hellboy storylines. I love this page because you've got Hellboy and chains and a cloaked figure with a skull for a face. Fantastic pick-up, congratulations!
