Unused sketchbook Cover by Arthur Adams

This saw print in the interior of Art's fifth sampler. Honestly? I have no idea if this was meant to be a cover. It just looks like the covers he did on the 3rd and 4th ART ADAMS SAMPLER (his sketchbook series)

There's a small blueline image on the back of his first attempt. I'd say he got about 10% into the inking before he abandoned it. I'd like to get the inking finished someday if I can find the right artist. Interestingly there are two signatures on it the larger one on the right marked 1/2006 and a smaller set of initials marked 5/2004. My guess is the more recent signature was added when he inked it.
