Pen and ink on Strathmore 400 Drawing, 14" x 17", private commission for Brian Cremins presented to Harlan Ellison in honor of their collaboration on a book about Fawcett's Captain Marvel they had just completed, Captain Marvel and the Art of Nostalgia (University Press of Mississippi, 2017).

As a youngster, Ellison was a huge fan of the Big Cheese; here he is imagined as Billy Batson, following the famous C.C. Beck composition (Ellison's date of birth is encoded in the issue number and date.) Collection of Harlan Ellison.
