Simpson, Don (Donald E. Simpson)

Hi there, lovers of comic art and fine figure drawing! I'm Don Simpson, creator of the comic books and graphic novels Megaton Man™, Border Worlds™, Bizarre Heroes™, and under the pseudonym Anton Drek, the ultra-explicit Wendy Whitebread, Undercover Slut™ and Forbidden Frankenstein™ for Eros Comix (Fantagraphics Books)! Over the years, I've freelanced for Marvel, DC, Image, Mirage Studios, Archie Comics, and many other publishers, and continue to create new material all the time.

My CAF galleries include published comic book artwork, convention sketches, various unpublished pitch samples, freelance advertising and public relations illustrations, custom commissioned art, and new, unpublished material not seen anywhere else, from 1984 to the present. All work is penciled, inked, and lettered by me unless otherwise noted (in the case of some freelance work, I may have only performed one or two of those functions, which will be clearly noted). All new commissions are 100% by me and utilize the highest quality archival art materials available.

I'm available to create custom commissions, and I sell select original art from all my published series. Over the years, I've also generated numerous sample pages as pitches to publishers, and while most did not lead to assignments, many of those pieces are proudly included in numerous fan collections as cherished "what-ifs or "what-might-have-beens!" My convention sketches can be found all over the internet dating back to 1984 (some, frankly, are an embarrassment), but if you search, you likely to find almost as many Spider-Man by me as my creator-owned Megaton Man™ or Yarn Man™!

Please contact me below with any questions. I have also recreated covers and splash pages for collectors and will be happy to consider your request to redo your favorite image!
