Description

X-Factor 129 p5, showing Mystique turning into Madrox. I actually liked this lineup of the team as a kid, mostly because I've always been a fan of Mystique and Sabretooth. The title struggled when Peter David left it, and I thought switching out the team entirely worked better than the DeMatteis version. Plus, Mystique.

The image of Mystique on the far left was used as the corner box art for X-Factor.

Mystique was very well developed in X-Factor. Matsuda did a cool job at the time. Shapeshifter pick!

LOVE this era of X-Factor. Matsuda doesn't get talked about enough. Such a great, fun, dynamic artist. And I've never liked Mystique more than when Matsuda drew her. This is the perfect page for showing off how cool both Mystique and Matsuda are. Thank you for sharing.
